Little Ray's Nature Centres PD Day & Holiday Camp Registration Form (Ottawa): September to December
The PD Day & Holiday Camp is an entertaining and educational opportunity that gives kids aged 7-15 a unique experience. Through fun, interactive, and engaging activities, campers will learn a great deal about the zoo animals and what is required to take care of them properly. Each and every day, we will run the following activities:

1) Animal Care: campers will be assigned an animal to care for. Tasks include misting, filling water, checking for animal health, feeding, and of course, cleaning the enclosure.
2) Craft: Either the craft will be representative of an animal or even FOR an animal!
3) Activity: These activities can range from nature walks, scavenger hunts, or educational games.
4) Treasure Hunt: The highly engaging and very popular *NEW* Zoo Clues Treasure Hunt!
5) Two opportunities to handle a variety of animals including snakes, lizards, and mammals.
6) Special Animal(s): A staff-led presentation about one or more of the larger animals at the zoo.

There are limited spots available, so the sooner we receive your registration, the better!

When does the program run?
The camp hours are from 9 am to 4 pm, and will be prepared to run on any PD/PA Day and most school Holidays as determined by local School Boards. We will also offer camp days to high school campers under the age of 16 during exam periods. In the rare occurrence that there aren't enough registrations to justify running the camp, you will be notified as soon as possible.
