Crags Against Humanity on Mt Lemmon, Santa Catalina Highway (please carpool)
Why: Crags Against Humanity is an ever popular location that CASA and the Coronado National Forest selected for a pilot project for ongoing stewardship and crag improvement. Through our adoption of this area, CASA has committed to steward and protect these resources from user impact.
You can choose! We will be
cleaning up litter, as well as performing
erosion control (building check steps and stabilizing loose banks). You can choose to do either.
What to Bring:- Gloves (CASA will have some available if you do not)
- Safety glasses or sunglasses (CASA will have some available if you do not)
- Hardhat or climbing helmet (CASA will have some available if you do not)
- Boots or closed toed shoes
- Long pants
- Sun protection
- Lunch
- 3 liters of water (minimum)
Safety:
Please note that dogs are not permitted on the project site.
Volunteers
between age 10-17 are welcome with a signed release. Please be mindful
that the worksites will often be near the highway, moving vehicles, and steep drops.
