We are excited to invite you to join us next school year at one of our Career Panel Workshops to introduce your industry, share your stories and engage with our students! These events are a gateway to real-world learning as students prepare for volunteering and internships! Been here before? Great! Come again for our newest cohort of freshmen! You'll LOVE them!

What’s a Career Panel Workshop?

8:50 - 10:20 a.m. (Designated Friday to match your Career Cluster Grouping)
Part 1: Career Cluster Themed where 4-5 industry professionals share their stories and insights in a panel with the 30+ students (30-40 minutes)
Part 2: Small group rotations with hands-on workshop for networking and engaging exploration (8-10 minute rotations/40 minutes)

Examples of workshops: Tagawa Gardens—creating planters and organizing plants; Hotel Hospitality—computer simulation with pricing scenarios; Electrical–using pipecleaners to create circuits; Law—starting a business from the legal side or LSAT questions

Think: How might we pitch our industry to VALE students in a way that inspires curiosity, maximizes initial understanding, and showcases the future value of the industry?

(Feb 19) Cultivating Resources: Energy & Natural Resources, Agriculture

- Participate in a Q&A panel (Examples: What is the hardest part of your job? What inspired you to pursue this field?)

- Plan an 8-10 minute workshop/hands-on activity related to my field that students can rotate through.

- Have fun with incredible students!
