Panelists include Allision Howard (President of Cleveland WNBA team), Thayer Lavielle (Managing Director of the Collective at Wasserman), and Dawn Stewart (Director of Strategic Partnerships Greater Columbus Sports Commission) at WOSU.

Franchise values, attendance, and TV ratings have surged for women's sports in recent years. Investment in women's sports has been rising rapidly, especially here in Ohio. In 2027 Columbus will host both the women's final four and NCAA volleyball Championships. The WNBA is adding 5 teams by 2030, including a yet to be named Cleveland team.
