How long do D&D campaigns actually last — and what keeps them going?

This survey is part of a community research project about D&D campaign reliability: how often campaigns continue, complete, pause, or fall apart, and what factors seem to affect campaign longevity.

You can answer as a Dungeon Master / Game Master, a player, or a rotating/shared GM. Current campaigns, completed campaigns, paused campaigns, and abandoned campaigns are all useful.

The survey is anonymous. Please do not include real names of players, DMs, or campaigns. The results will be analyzed in aggregate and may be published as a public summary.
