A. Complete the following entry form below.
B. Submit a PDF/PowerPoint of your pitch talk (by email to email@example.com) that includes the following information in your pitch slide deck with a maximum of 5 slides. Optional, but “a plus”, would be to submit a 3-5min video of your pitch talk that includes your pitch slide deck: 1. Product, Service and Technology – Briefly describe the product, service and technology. 2. Value Proposition – How is the product or service going to add value for customers? 3. Target Market – Who will be buying the product or service? 4. Market Size – How big is the target market? 5. Differentiation – How is the product or service different from existing competition? What is the competitive advantage? 6. Product Stage/ Product Development and Regulatory Pathway – what is the current stage of your company? Describe the regulatory route, timing and milestones 7. Revenue Model – How will the product or service generate revenue? 8. Team- Describe your team and their relevant experience/past successes

1. Judging and notification a. Applicant screening i. Applications are reviewed and selected based on presentation and pitch. b. Selection and notification i. Applicants are notified that they are selected to present at the pitch event. A panel of independent judges will determine finalists for the live pitch event. c. Confirmation of acceptance i. Selected participants will confirm with Women In Bio that they accept the selection and will participate at the event. d. Plenary Pitch event (http://www.womeninbio.org/eventdetails.aspx?EventId=31272) i. Applicants will have 5 minutes to present in front of the panelists/judges and the audience ii. Presentation will be followed Q/A from the panelists/judges (up to 5mins) iii. Winner of the competition will be announced during the reception following the pitch portion of the event
2. Submission guidelines a. An applicant must complete the entry form and provide a PDF/PowerPoint of their pitch talk with a maximum of 5 slides. Optional, but “a plus”, would be to submit a 3-5min video of your pitch talk which includes your pitch slide deck (for videos, consider using https://wetransfer.com/ to email large files or uploading to a private YouTube video that can be shared with us). 3. Intellectual property a. Submissions remain the property of contestant and the contestant companies are responsible for protecting the intellectual property of their submissions. b. Privacy i. All personal information collected by the competition administrator will only be used in the scope of competition
