Meet the Bees! Event registration 2026 🐝
Did you know that here at The Root Cellar, on the roof of our McKenzie Corner store, are two beehives that help to provide pollinators to our farmer friends in the Blenkinsop Valley? Join us for this fun, family-friendly workshop to learn more about these incredible creatures, including their behaviors, how to spot the Queen Bee and the practice of bee-keeping! The workshop will be led by our bee-keeper, and is run in partnership with Alveole.Β

πŸ“ Where: Outside our McKenzie Corner store
🎟️ This event is free of charge and all are warmly welcome. Please just complete the form below to let us know whether you'll be coming along. 

We will provide limited seating, so there may be standing required depending on numbers. You are welcome to bring your own seating or picnic blanket.Β
