Monica Munoz-Torres from the Berkeley Bioinformatics Open-Source Projects group (BBOP) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (http://www.berkeleybop.org/people/monica-munoz-torres/) is giving a one-day Primer on Genome Annotation workshop at UNSW as part of a tour of Australia organised by EMBL-ABR (https://www.embl-abr.org.au/monicamunoz-torrestour/). There will be a particular emphasis on collaborative genome annotation using WebApollo.

The formal registration form is not yet available but please register Expressions of Interest for attendance here. Formal registration will require a $20 registration fee. Please contact us if this will cause any issues. Numbers are limited to 30 participants. We will contact you if the event if over-subscribed and you are on a waiting list.
