Hosted by award-winning journalist Noor Tagouri, Common Ground: From Protest to Progress is a live filmed event creating space for thoughtful dialogue about student activism and collective fears in today's political climate.
The event prioritizes student safety while exploring questions about fear, freedom, and our shared responsibility in protecting constitutional rights. Produced by SUNY students in Noor's "Revolutionary Representation Course," this guided discussion will take place on Thursday, February 27 at 5 PM in Lecture Hall 100.
All attendees are asked to follow community guidelines to maintain a safe and brave space. Common Ground is part of the AYS Town Hall Series and is open to the public. Masks will be available if you'd like to maintain anonymity. Any footage captured is solely for use on AYS platforms, and will not be sold nor distributed elsewhere.
