The Baton Rouge Chapter of the Louisiana Engineering Society values STEM education in our area schools. To support that, the organization has dedicated a portion of its annual operating budget to providing grants to STEM programs at area schools.
Each request will be independently evaluated by the organization's Board of Directors. Applications are currently being accepted. A limited number of grants are available each year. Those selected by the Board will receive cash grants of $500. If you applied in the past and did not receive a grant, you are encouraged to submit again. Preference will be given to schools that have not received a grant in a recent year.
Please provide as much of the requested information as possible, but additional information beyond this application will not be accepted. Please allow 6-8 weeks for applications to be reviewed after the stated deadline before inquiring about the status. Any questions about the program may be sent to lesbatonrougela@gmail.com. Applications must be submitted by the deadline to be eligible.
