We're thrilled that you're considering joining us as a volunteer VCE or HSC tutor at the Regional Education Support Network (RESN). Your dedication to helping students achieve their academic goals is truly commendable, and we're excited to have you on board.

At RESN, we believe in the transformative power of education, and your role as a tutor plays a crucial part in shaping the future of our students. Your support and guidance can make a lasting impact on their learning journey.

We ask for a 12-month commitment (or to the end of the current year) from our tutors to provide consistent support to our students throughout their academic year. Typically, tutors dedicate 1.5-3 hours of their time per week, helping students navigate the challenges of VCE or HSC studies.

Currently we are only offering Maths & English subjects for tutoring, but we will ask for you to include other subjects you may be able to tutor, in case we expand on this in future.

Your expertise and passion for education will inspire and empower our students to reach their full potential. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and contribute to a brighter future.

A WWCC is a pre-requisite for all RESN tutors. Before commencing tutoring, you MUST have a current WWCC for the state in which you wish to tutor i.e.: Tutors wishing to tutor:
  • HSC subjects must have a NSW WWCC (which requires visiting a physical Service NSW location). For HSC tutors residing in ACT the closest Service NSW location is at Queanbeyan.
  • VCE subjects must have a Victorian WWCC (which can be issued online).
As a volunteer, your Working with Children's Check is free. 
If you are yet to obtain your WWCC, please make a note of this in the box below and continue filling in this form.
