Science Rendezvous 2017 Exhibit Registration
The 10th annual Science Rendezvous is coming to the University of Toronto on Saturday, May 13th 2017. The event is a free, all-ages street festival that runs from 11 am until 5 pm on St. George Street between Harbord Street and College Street. The primary goal of the festival is to engage the general public and promote science literacy. If your department or organization is interested in presenting an exhibit/activity please fill out and submit the online application form found below. The deadline for submission is March 3rd.

Participating departments/organizations are encouraged, but not required, to host a booth with hands-on activities or demonstrations in line with this year’s theme, Celebrating 150 Years of Canadian Science. Over the past 150 years, innovation and discovery in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) have improved the quality of life of fellow Canadians and citizens around the world. It would be great if your organization or department can add an element to your display/activities that showcase this theme. If you have participated in previous year(s), we encourage you to have one or more new activities/display.

Our team hopes to accommodate all departments and organizations who show interest in Science Rendezvous. However, due to the limited space and volunteers for the festival, it may be the case that we cannot accept all submissions. Confirmation of involvement will be sent out by March 15th. Upon confirmation your organization/department will be listed on our website as well as our festival brochure. You will also be put in contact with a personal liaison to address any additional questions or concerns you may have. We promise to provide continuous support to ensure you have all the necessary information and equipment to host your display; this includes on-site volunteers for the day of SR, a detailed timeline, and any necessary exhibition materials, such tables, tents, chairs and power generators.

If you have any questions regarding the online application form or the festival, please contact your program liaison. Thank you!
