We are excited you will be joining us for auditions here at Davenport Junior Theatre!
 
Please note that all students must complete this pre-registration form. Here are some other key details.
 
Complete this form with your student together.  There are many questions that will involve both you and them. Students, do NOT complete this form without your parents involvement.
 
Form takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. You will want any conflicts you have during rehearsal periods ready to enter in Section 2.  Note - you cannot save for later, must be completed within one browser sitting.
 
* Please be prepared to list all your student's scheduling conflicts for the following periods in time.

Opening Meeting/Read-Thru: MONDAY, JANUARY 5TH
Rehearsals: JANUARY 5TH-FEBRUARY 20TH
Performances: FEBRUARY 21ST-MARCH 1ST
 
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Students must be 10 years or older at the time of the auditions.
* Students must have participated and completed (or about to complete) a DJT class or camp to audition.  
* Students auditioning for Cast or Showtime Pal should expect to stay the entire time of the audition scheduled. Students who are ONLY interested in Crew or Front of House are welcome to stay the full time, but are only required to stay the first 30 min. 
*Students auditioning for Cast and/or Showtime Pal:
  • must prepare a short monologue, not to exceed one minute
* Open to residents of any city, not just Davenport.
* Students only need to attend ONE audition day.
* If cast, actors pay a $90 registration fee. Tech only students pay $60 registration fee. There is no cost to play Showtime Pal or be on the Front of House team. Thanks to our partnership with HAVlife, we have partial and full scholarships available for those who may need assistance.
