꿈에 대한 작업과 연구를 진행하는 각 분야의 전문가들을 초대하여 사회생활 전반의 다양한 맥락에서 꿈이 다뤄지는 방식을 살펴봅니다. 한국 고전문학 연구가 노영윤은 한국사에 등장한 꿈을 사고 파는 매몽설화에 대해 소개하고, 정신분석학 전공자인 김서영 교수는 프로이트의 『꿈의 해석』을 실천적으로 활용할 수 있는 방법에 대해 이야기 할 것입니다. 치유상담대학원대학교 고혜경 교수는 개인의 꿈이 집단상황을 어떻게 묘사하고 어떻게 진화하는지 세월호 사건때 수집한 꿈들로 연구한 내용을 공유합니다. 박봉수 작가는 시각적 탐구를 통해 꿈을 다루는 방식을 작품으로 발표할 예정입니다. 발표는 각 20분간 진행되며, 발표 이후 박수지 큐레이터의 질의 응답이 이어집니다.

This symposium will bring together different practitioners who study and engage with dreams in their work, in order to highlight the ways in which dreams are considered in various contexts throughout both professional and social life. Korean Classical Literature scholar Noh Young-Yun will discuss the presence of dreams in Korean history, professor Suh-Young Kim will talk about how to use Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams in everyday life, and mythologist Koh Hye-kyung will share her research on how individual dreams illuminate, analyze and heal society with dreams collected during the Sewol Ferry incident. Artist Bongsu Park will present her visual explorations of dreams in her artwork. Presentations will be 20 minutes each, followed by a Q&A session at the end led by curator Suzy Park.
