Hi, all fellow Northern Arizona adult tennis players. Due to high interest and our unique area we live in we are reintroducing the tri-level league in our area. This league will allow adults to play on teams with each line being played against appropriate levels. For example a team can be made up of two 3.0s two 3.5s and two 4.0s. This means you need a minimum of 6 players for a team and a minimum of two appropriately leveled players on each team.
Yes! you can add more than that if you wish. Each team will play against another team of same abilities playing against each other in
DOUBLES ONLY at appropriate level. We will need a minimum of two teams to make a division. Players must be computer rated by the end of 2023 to participate in the Sectional Event. Players may only play in one division.
Team Flight combinations possible are 3.0/3.5/4.0, OR 3.5/4.0/4.5, OR 4.0/4.5/5.0. YES! YOU CAN, HAVE MORE THAN TWO PLAYERS IN EACH LEVEL ON YOUR GENDER BASED TEAM.
With this flexibility of team compositions we should be able to make a lot of fun teams in our respective areas of NAZ. The dates of play as of now will be Oct 14th and 15th 2023. Depending on the number of teams registered we will hold this event at one location or multiple locations in NAZ. You can form your own team or register as an individual and we will try to place you on a team.
Sectionals for Tri Level for winning teams will be 1/19-1/21 2024 in Scottsdale. Winners of Sectionals will play a national event in San Diego in March 2024.
