Request a Tree
New Haven Urban Resources Initiative (URI) is a community not-for-profit affiliated with the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Our GreenSkills program provides meaningful paid work experience to youth and adults transitioning back to the labor force. If you would like to request a free street tree and can commit to watering it for its first three years, please fill out the form below. Our GreenSkills team will contact you to discuss tree species and location in the order your request was received.
