MESPA Speaks Application
Inspired by Ted Talks, MESPA Speaks is an opportunity for MESPA members to share brief and impactful presentations with their peers. Presentations can be 5, 7 or 10 minutes long.

Please keep in mind that if you are chosen to be part of MESPA Speaks, this will be a commitment. Presenters must work hard to create a high quality, entertaining, and engaging presentation in 5-10 minutes. Presentations should be entirely memorized and must stick exactly to the time frame given. MESPA staff will be available to help give feedback during the process and potentially connect you with a colleague, but ultimately the responsibility will be up to you. The end result of all this hard work is getting the opportunity to share your passion with an engaged group of peers! Please make sure you are committed to the process before applying!

Applications will be reviewed by MESPA staff and the executive committee. Final presentations will be chosen based on:
- The relevance and creativity of the topic
- The time frame and how it will fit into our schedule given the time of other presentations
- The demonstrated interest and commitment of the presenter

Applicants should be current MESPA members. To view last year's MESPA Speaks presentations, please go to:

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE by Friday, November 10. You will be notified re: your application's status in Mid-November.
