The Pittsburgh Junior Branch is excited to offer scholarships for youth in our membership. The purpose of these funds is to give the opportunity for JBers to attend JB events locally, nationally, and internationally. Please read the below information carefully before submitting your application for JB funds. 
Note: this funding is exclusively for JB programming. Summer travel program scholarships may be obtained by contacting 
cisvpittsburgh@gmail.com.
Scholarship qualifications:
Applicant must be 18 years of age or younger
Applicant must be a member in good standing with the Pittsburgh Chapter
Applicant must be an active member of the Junior Branch
Applicant must complete this form in its entirety
Programs this funding can be applied to:
Local JB Events and Programs
Selection Overnight/Local Mini Camp
East Midwest Regional Mini Camp (RMC)
National Mini Camp (NMC)
CanExUs Workshop
CISV In Motion (CIM)
Americas Junior Branch Meeting (AJBM)
International Junior Branch Conference (IJBC)
Any other JB events (by approval)
JB Scholarship Fund Distribution
JB Pittsburgh is proud to offer up to $500 annually in scholarships. This funding comes directly from the fundraising efforts of our local Junior Branch.
Currently, we are able to offer up to 50% of the total registration cost of the program you wish to attend (max $200). These scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis. Please note that we cannot offer scholarship funding for travel expenses at this time. Applications are due three weeks prior to the date of your program if local or national. If international, application is due five weeks prior the program.
