Hoverball Inflatable Archery - usage request
Please complete this form to request the use of the Hoverball inflatable archery exhibit. Please note this log helps track use for all staff for ease of transfer and scheduling. Several counties/districts own one, so if it's reserved when you have a need, consider asking around. Usage will be added to the CYI Training Calendar.
**Please remember to report your event in PEARS, if it's not already captured in 4Honline (fairs, PR, science nights, competitions, etc).**

SHOOTING SPORTS GROUP ENROLLMENT? Be sure to enter use of Hoverball into Pears if using if for a group enrollment (fair, camps, recruitment activities, etc). Reporting these numbers helps justify purchases of more equipment and reports back to donors who fund the purchase. National 4-H also collects data from all state who participate in shooting sports programs. Coding your group events as "shooting sports" helps pay for Michigan 4-H youth and volunteers to attend National 4-H events!  

WHERE DO I PICK IT UP? Hoverball is no longer stored on campus. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to arrange pick-up and drop-off with previous/next contacts, and arrange for safe storage until hand-off. Please do not roll the unit on the wheels it came with; it leads to dragging, which leads to holes. (Holes are bad for inflatables.)

WHAT IS IT AND HOW DO I USE IT? https://safearchery.com/  Info on transportation & inflation is at the link above. The exhibit is approx 8'x10' and inflatable. It requires electricity. It may need to be tied down if used in a pavilion on a windy day. 4-H pennants/banners/traffic cones can be used to cordon-off "no walking lanes" on the sides of the exhibit to ensure no one walks into the line of fire.

WHO MAY RUN THE HOVERBALL STATION: No archery certification is required. Use gold VSP volunteers, staff, and youth members to run the station.
