Availability for Rebuild Operations

Team Rubicon has stepped into the arena on long-term recovery to help rebuild both Houston, TX, and Collier County, FL, which were both overwhelmed by hurricanes.

These are not your typical operations–Rebuild operations will feel a little different than responding to a disaster. You are still serving a community affected by disaster, and your task for the day will still be to get shit done. The work will be hard, sweaty, and rewarding. You will earn your shirt.

Greyshirts, Partner & Sponsor groups, local community volunteers, and skilled tradesmen will be uniting in the field to provide maximum impact on rebuild efforts.

Don’t know the difference between a router and a ratchet? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything you need to know when working on Rebuild. Some of the skills you learn will translate to work orders in a response setting.

TR will provide limited open bay, coed billeting on a first come, first served, basis to Team Rubicon Greyshirts only.
• Billeting is guaranteed for those dispatched to travel by air
• Drivers will be advised prior to dispatch if billeting is NOT available for their registered dates

Greyshirts located within 450 miles of the operation must:
• Be available for a minimum of 1 day
• Have health insurance
• Have completed TR 101 and cleared a Team Rubicon Background Check if staying overnight with the team

Greyshirts located more than 450 miles from the operation must:
• Be available for a minimum of 7 days to align with deployment windows
• Have health insurance
• Have completed TR 101 and cleared a Team Rubicon Background Check

Registering does NOT guarantee deployment. Registered volunteers will be dispatched based on deployment criteria, availability, and personnel needs for each day.
