Thank you so much for sharing your time and expertise to support South Carolina’s high school entrepreneurs! By volunteering at the YEScarolina State Business Plan Competition, you are helping students take their first step toward becoming young CEOs of their own businesses.

We’re thrilled to have you join us as a Room Monitor or Timer for this exciting event. Your support helps ensure the competition runs smoothly and provides every student with a positive, professional experience. Detailed volunteer instructions and job duties for both days will be shared as the event approaches.

📅 Event Date: Friday, May 8, 2026
📍 Location: Midlands Technical College, Beltline Campus
School of Business & IT Building
316 S. Beltline Blvd, Columbia, SC 29205
🕗 Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

There are multiple opportunities to volunteer throughout the day:

Perfect Pitch Battle: 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Preliminary Competition: 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. (approximately 20 volunteers needed)
Semi-Final Competition: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. (approximately 10 volunteers needed)
Final Competition: 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. (all are welcome to stay and cheer on the finalists!)

🍽️ Lunch will be provided.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity to help with pre-event setup on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Volunteers will meet in the lobby of the School of Business & IT building.
