I understand there is a $100 Varsity Choir participation fee to cover uniform rental / dry cleaning, custom tee shirt (tee shirt is yours to keep), and nonrefundable deposit for Music in the Parks trip in the spring.
Which of these statements applies to you?
I am already an SLS member this year and plan to pay only the $100 Varsity Choir participation fee.
I plan to join SLS now for $25 AND pay the $100 Varsity Choir participation fee for a total of $125.
I plan to apply for a confidential fee waiver using the form found on the Forms Page of the SLS website:
I and my student understand the following things about Varsity Choir (check all that apply)
The expectations in the Varsity Choir Contract must be met for continued participation.
Presenteeism on Monday rehearsals is a must (only two excused absences per semester)
Other rehearsals may be called.
Several performance opportunities exist, some of which are mandatory - all of which are awesome and fun!
The Music in the Parks trip to a regional amusement park in mid-May is a fun-filled choir competition that will involve an additional fee* and an opportunity to chaperone. (*trip is subsidized by SLS funds)
