Boot Course (Drafting and Story Structure)—An in-depth master class on story, for beginning and advanced fiction writers. Choose the options which interest you:
Revision Workshop
Ranger Course (Revision and Editing)—A course which guides you through the revision process, led by a professional editor who’s been tutoring grammar since 2005. Even if you never liked or understood English grammar before, you’re sure to come out of this class knowing and appreciating at a new level. Besides the technical stuff, we’ll also look at common pitfalls in unpublished manuscripts, including cliches and poor pacing.
General Workshop Preferences
Currently workshops meet once weekly. Sessions consist of a short lecture, an assignment for you to work on during the week, and a live Q&A. You post your assignments on the private site and receive feedback from classmates and Lara.
