Join us at MuslimFest 2025 for Poetry and Purpose, a 1-hour workshop where writers of all levels can spark creativity, explore slant and compound rhymes, and craft poems that connect artistry to purpose—leaving with fresh motivation, new techniques, and words that inspire beyond the page.
This workshop will be hosted by Matu who is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto with extensive experience in poetry and songwriting. For him, poetry and song have been a means of healing, and he hopes to use his craft to inspire and make a positive impact. His work reflects a deep consciousness rooted in faith and identity, expressed through both his writing and performances.
