Cars and trucks are an integral part of life for so many people. A necessary evil for some and a soulmate for others, cars get us from A to B stopping at LGTQ and I along the way! Like friends, families, and lovers, our four-wheeled companions protect us, enable us, provide for us, let us down, and are with us through the muckiest mud seasons and the smoothest windows-down highway cruises. Join us on a roadtrip of car stories, pictures, and memories. Also included will be maintenance and car shopping tips!
Millions of people rely on cars for social connection, income, health and general survival. Cars often play an even larger role for rural people and people of marginalized identities. Cars can be lifesaving and shelter providing while also being one of the costliest and most difficult parts of life for many. We invite you to think about and share the way cars have impacted your life and your rural LGBTQ+ identity. Please share any joy and hardships that come to mind as well as any tips and tricks learned over the years!
