The Accord WASH Alliance is co-convening an exciting showcase as this year's World Water Week in Stockholm, and we want to give Accord members a sneak peek!
As many of us know, the WASH sector is increasingly recognizing the value of engaging with faith actors. Correspondingly, numerous faith actors have expressed support for WASH programs and the SDGs.
This webinar will explore case studies of scalable faith-based development models in the WASH sector. Living Water International and Tearfund UK will present examples from district-level WASH programs in Zimbabwe and Zambia, respectively, along with a toolkit called Flourish they co-developed for district-level church and community mobilization for WASH.
The SMART Centre Group will provide a case study from Malawi where local church leaders and members were trained in local, low-cost WASH solutions. Lastly, the Ecumenical Water Network of the World Council of Churches will share its efforts on introducing WASH curriculum in the educational institutions of its member churches around the world.
The log in information will be sent out on July 29th, at which time this form will close.
