We welcome volunteers for many different positions. These include classroom assistants, after-school classroom assistants, events, tutoring, and so much more! Volunteering with HBK is a fantastic way to contribute to your community. Responsibilities include:

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, respect, and curiosity
Assist lead teacher with student support and classroom management as needed
Build positive relationships with students
Ensure students are remaining with their class during academic periods and transitions
Warmly and excitedly greet and dismiss students upon their arrival and dismissal
Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment
Communicate effectively with program staff and fellow volunteers
