OFFICERS: Are appointed by the Board of Directors for a one-year term and may be appointed for successive terms with the exception of the President, who may not serve more than two consecutive terms unless the Board of Directors approve additional terms. All Officers are encouraged to have a Committee and serves as Chair of that Committee; and, ensures minutes of committee meetings are maintained. Officers (and/or their Deputy) are expected to manage their functional area as well as attend a majority of the monthly Officer meetings held throughout the year.

-- EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT (EVP) - In the absence of the President, the EVP performs all the duties of the President and performs other duties as requested by the President and Board of Directors.

-- TREASURER: Exercises general supervision over the receipt, custody, and disbursement of corporate funds.

-- SECRETARY: Prepare the minutes of Board of Director, Officer, and member meetings. Keeps and maintains records and reports required by AFCEA International and AFCEA Hawaii.
Committee VPs/Deputies
    -- AWARDS: Plans and coordinates awards to recognize outstanding contributors to AFCEA Hawaii's programs and objectives and to encourage members of the general public to pursue scientific and technical career fields.

    -- COMMUNICATIONS: Serves as the focal point for information about AFCEA programs and marketing of the AFCEA Hawaii events and programs. Creates press releases, flyers, e-mail, and other media products to disseminate information to the public and AFCEA supporters.

    -- CYBER: Serves as the focal point for AFCEA Hawaii membership to exchange ideas and coordinate AFCEA Hawaii's Cyber-related activities to include outreach and help build bridges between government and industry.

    -- EDUCATION: Develops and coordinates awards, scholarships, and teacher grants to further the technical and scientific education of AFCEA members, students, teachers and others in the State of Hawaii.

    -- EVENTS: Plans, organizes programs and events (primarily the monthly luncheon events) to meet AFCEA Hawaii's objective of encouraging the exchange of ideas and close cooperation between government agencies, the military, industry, and educational institutions. Coordination efforts include obtaining guest speakers, working with their staff an assisting with the activities related to the day of the event.

    -- TECHNOLOGY (IT) SUPPORT: Supports the chapter in all IT needs from website management to newsletters and knowledge management.

    -- INTELLIGENCE: Serves as the focal point for AFCEA Hawaii membership to exchange ideas and coordinate AFCEA Hawaii's intelligence-related activities to include outreach and help build bridges between government and industry.

    -- MEMBERSHIP: Plans and coordinates strategies for individual and corporate membership growth and retention.

    -- YOUNG AFCEANS: Develops and executes a program to attract, grow and retain Young AFCEANS to be successful members of the AFCEA Hawaii Chapter. Plans YAC social events, networking events, and outreach programs.
