ARC Reader Sign-up Form
I am Author R.H. McMahan or you might know me from Instagram and blogging as Sincerely, Mickie. My novel Worn Out Places debuts on September 1st, 2021! I am currently looking for a team of early readers to receive an advanced copy of Worn Out Places and leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble and anywhere else you would like to talk about the book.
Reviews are crucial for an author, especially around the release of a new book. It would help me out so much to have you be apart of getting this book out into the world!
In total I am hoping to find 85 ARC readers:
-10 readers will receive an early NOT proofread digital copy and will be asked to leave a Goodreads review and/or blog review before release day.
-50 readers will receive a digital proofread copy around mid-July and will be asked to leave a Goodreads, Amazon, and/or Barnes & Noble review on/or around release day.
-25 readers will receive a physical proofread copy about a month before release and will be asked to leave a Goodreads, Amazon, and/or Barnes & Noble review on/or around release day.
I am so excited to be this close to getting this book in the hands of readers. Please understand that if you're not chosen it is because I have reached my cap of 85 ARC readers and it is nothing personal. You will be notified if you are an ARC reader in the beginning of July!
Now for the fun stuff! Here's the blurb for Worn Out Places:

Drug addict parents. The foster care system. Living on the streets of New York City.
Zoie Cruz is used to an unflinching world that takes without giving back. But at seventeen she isn’t used to Northern Michigan, a family that wants her to succeed, and sobriety.
Everything changed on Christmas morning last year. Her social worker calls it a tragedy and her weekly Narcotics Anonymous meeting wants her to open up. All Zoie wants is to be left alone to get high.
When she meets local golden boy Dean, he’s determined to pull Zoie out of her darkness. And she’s determined to keep her walls sealed shut.
In a whirlwind struggle to stay clean, Zoie’s secrets can only stay hidden for so long.
I am interested in...
Reading an un-proofed copy and leaving a pre-release day review.
Reading a digital proofed copy and leaving a review on release day.
Reading a physical proofed copy and leaving a review on release day.
Any of the above options. I don't have a preference.
I understand that there are trigger warnings for drug use, self-harm, grief, occasional swearing, and mentions of sexual abuse in this book and I am okay with reading content that includes these triggers.
