Thank you for participating in this survey!

All students matriculating into UCLA are highly encouraged to attend an orientation session before their first fall quarter. In these sessions, incoming students learn the UCLA community guidelines and the True Bruin values, how to navigate campus life and the university institutions, and how to enroll in classes. Transfer students receive one day of orientation while direct-entry students receive three.

This survey is being conducted by the Internal Relations Committees within the Office of the Transfer Student Representative, a part of the UCLA Undergraduate Students Association Council. Your responses will be used to approach New Student Academic Programs to request that they make orientation more accommodating to transfer-specific needs, and ensure that incoming transfer students are given the same resources and preparation for their time at UCLA as their direct-entry counterparts are given.
