November 19-21, 2025
Proposal Deadline: Wednesday, July 16, 2025
Join us at the STEM Librarians Collaborative! We are currently accepting proposals for those interested in presenting at this virtual conference. The STEM Librarians Collaborative will offer a variety of session formats; all proposed sessions should be on topics related to STEM librarianship. We welcome submissions by those who work in or support these fields, including librarians, informationists, vendors, and publishers. Product pitches will not be considered for sessions at the STEM Librarians Collaborative.
Session formats:
Lightning talks (~5 minutes)
Short Presentations (~15 minutes)
Storytelling the Profession (~7-10 minutes) - Firsthand accounts of your experience as a STEM library professional, told without slides
I Have a Problem (10-15 minutes) - Come with a question, problem, or scenario related to STEM librarianship (not personnel problems) and ask attendees for their advice and experiential takeaways to solve it (see topic list for potential ideas)
I Have a Solution (10-15 minutes) - Do you have a workplace “life hack”? A piece of software that does something perfectly? Come with your solution related to STEM librarianship followed by a discussion with conference participants about additional solutions (see topic list for potential ideas)
If you are interested in contributing to the STEM Librarians Collaborative, please submit a description of your proposed session (no more than 500 words, please) and your preferred format on this form!
Have a different or unique idea for a session format than the ones listed? Please, let us know by emailing
planning@stemlib.co with your ideas.
Meeting participants will have every opportunity to be fully engaged and both presenters and attendees will have equal opportunities to contribute to the conference. This means that we will do everything we can to make our conference accessible to all.
