Alberta L. Wolfe Fellowship Application 2024
These fellowships were established in memory of Alberta L. Wolfe, a dedicated teacher of mathematics at Western College and Miami University from 1929 until 1964. For Summer 2024, the Department of Mathematics expects to award Wolfe Fellowships to all graduate students in mathematics education. The fellowships will be applied toward the students’ tuition and fees for the summer term(s). The amount provided each summer is dependent upon the number of students enrolled and on current interest rates.
The applicant should (1) be a candidate for the M.A.T. degree in the Department of Mathematics; (2) be enrolled for at least six hours of approved summer courses that will count toward this degree; (3) be certified to teach secondary school mathematics (grades 7-12); and (4) have completed at least one year of full-time teaching in the mathematical sciences.
In order to be considered for classes beginning June 17, applications should be received by April 26th, 2024.
