Baltimore Grocery Access Program - Registration for South Baltimore
Welcome to the Baltimore Grocery Access Program for South Baltimore, a partnership between the South Baltimore Gateway Partnership, Family Health Centers of Baltimore and Lyft. We hope to make shopping for healthy food easier for you and your household by providing discounted rides to the grocery store. This is a pilot program funded by the City of Baltimore for six months beginning November 18, 2019. We do not know if the program will continue after the end date.
By participating in this program, you will be eligible for a ride to the grocery store for $2.50 one way. If you decide to take a Lyft to and from the grocery store, it would cost $5.00 round trip. With this program, you will be able to take up to 8 rides to /from the grocery store per month.
To qualify for this program you must live in Mt. Winans, Cherry Hill, Westport or Lakeland and not own your own car.
Through this program, you can choose to get a ride to or from any of the following stores:
- Shoppers at Southside Shopping Center (857 E Fort Ave)
- Harris Teeter at McHenry Row Shopping Center (1801 Whetstone Way)
- Price Rite at Mt Clare Junction Shopping Center (1205 W Pratt St)
- LA Mart at Hollinswood Shopping Center (2159 W Patapsco Ave)
- ALDI (3140 Washington Blvd)
- Megamart at Patapsco Village Shopping Center (3400 Annapolis Rd) - opening Dec 2019
Once you've registered for the program using the form below, you will receive a discount code in the Lyft app on your phone to allow for the discounted ride. .
