SAE  AWIM®  in Pontiac Winter 2025
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for SAE A World In Motion® (AWIM®) in Pontiac. Join us in 3rd - 5th grade classrooms to inspire the next generation of engineers and STEM leaders using the AWIM challenges. This is a 1.5 hour commitment for six (6) weeks. 30 minutes prep on age-appropriate materials and 1 hour in the classroom. All training and materials will be provided. This is the 12th consecutive year for this program in Pontiac. The challenges are Straw Rockets, Skimmer, and Jet Toy. Here is some general information: 
1. Teacher/volunteer training session at GM, 800 Glenwood, Pontiac, MI & at the schools during the week of 1/20/2025 - calendar invites will come out in early January
2. Start week of 2/3/2025 (this aligns with beginning of 2nd semester) 
3. No session during mid-winter break week of 2/17/2025
4. Finish week of 3/21/2025
