Responsibilities
As an Artist at PiratCo, you will be responsible for creating or rigging & animating 3D models for the environment, characters and props, depending on your specific role within the department. This will include creating completely new models, as well as reviewing, redoing, or adjusting previous models. In addition, the role requires excellent communication skills as you will be collaborating closely with team members from other departments.

• Create or rig & animate beautiful environments, characters, props & textures
from conception to completion
• Ensure art tasks are finished on time and to the best of your ability
• Collaborating with team members to bring concepts to life
• Performing reviews & feedback on art assets
• Communicating your work clearly and accurately

• Strong communication skills
• A passion for competitive video games
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Ability to take on research and self-education
• Experience 3D modeling or rigging & animating
• Experience using game engines (UE4, Unity, etc.)
• Experience working in team environments
• Available for weekly online meetings

Bonus:

• Previous work on published games
• Experience with polygon optimization
• Experience working on multiplayer games

Contract
This position is based on a limited revenue-share contract and is specific to every individual on the team. All specifics will be detailed to an official document that must be signed before proceeding.
