  • There are 22 spots available(4 sax, 4 trombone, 4 trumpet, 2 bass, 2 guitar, 2 piano, and 4 drums/percussion). 
  • Accepted participants will be notified by email, along with any other emails provided on the form.
  • Tuition: $450.00 (Scholarships are available)

  • Nomination deadline: May 1, 2024

    UMSL offers a five-day-long day intensive study of Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian styles that have influenced “Latin Jazz”. This immersive experience brings together top professionals, gifted educators and motivated students from the region. 

    Lunch will be provided daily.

    Recommended ages: 14-18

    This is a day camp. There is no on-campus housing availability.

    Transportation to and from camp is the responsibility of individual student. 

    Students must provide their own instrument(s) aside from piano, drums, and percussion.
