The Renter (person whose name and contact information is used to fill out this form) must plan to be at the Bourkevale Community Centre during the event and is responsible for following all the procedures listed on the BCC Rental Procedures Checklist ("walkthrough checklist").
The rental fee is $40 per hour, including the time that you need to set up, host your event, AND clean up afterwards ($30 per hour if you live in-catchment).
Before your first event at the BCC, you will need to come for a "walkthrough" orientation.
The minimum rental time is three hours. We do not provide setup or cleanup assistance.
Rentals are only confirmed when paid in full and the signed, completed Rental Agreement is returned to us.
A $40-$100 refundable security deposit ($100 for large and/or evening events) may be added to your rental agreement. We will refund this security deposit only if you have followed all of the steps in the BCC Rental Procedures Checklist (Walkthrough Checklist). The BCC must be left clean, the doors and windows locked, the alarm set, the lights off, the key left in the lockbox, and the garbage bags and recycling taken to the bins outside.
