2018 YouthConnekt Liberia Roll-out
The Ministry of Youth and Sports with funding from UNDP and other partners will officially roll out the Youthconnekt Liberia program on December 20 - 21, 2018, at the S.K.D Sports complex in Paynesville, Liberia. The Youthconnekt -Liberia program is one of the many interventions by the government and her development partners. The program is designed to give young people the space to develop in innovation, ICT, Social Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship, Volunteerism, and Leader. YouthConnekt Liberia is modeled after the Rwanda success story; its inception came as the result of the vision of UNDP Regional Office for Africa for the up-scaling of the Rwanda story across Africa. The Ministry of Youth and Sports launched the YouthConnekt Liberia program on December 9, 2017, in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

Liberia is one of the six (6) countries that currently run a YouthConnekt program in Africa.

The YouthConnekt-Liberia program has six (6) components, iForum, Ámouwolu (Let’s Talk), eCamp, General Assembly, President Young Achiever Awards (PY2A) and the Youth Month. The components of the program will be officially unveiled during the rollout.

The program is accepting application from youth and youth leaders to attend the official ceremony and thematic session. Only online application will be considered for attendance.
