Public Banking Sacramento Lobby Day April 8!
On April 8, 2019, California Public Banking Alliance activists from allied cities in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Orange County and San Diego will converge in Sacramento for a Lobby Day at the State Capitol!

Join us for an action-packed day of citizens' lobbying as we make the rounds to legislative offices to make our voices heard: yes to public banking and yes to AB 857! With our public banking bill going through committees in mid-April, it is absolutely critical that we get in front of our representatives and send a clear message: The people demand an end to reliance on unethical Wall Street banks! Public banking NOW for the people and planet!

Please fill out this registration form if you're planning to join us for Lobby Day. We hope to see you in Sacramento!

Our friends at Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) Action are headed to the Capitol for joint-lobbying on housing and public banking. ACCE will be chartering a bus to Sacramento departing from their Los Angeles office on April 7, returning April 9. If you’re interested in traveling via bus from Southern California, the donation for this trip is a very generous $20.00, which covers your room (Comfort Inn), travel, and food. ACCE Membership is not required to attend, but definitely encouraged:

If you're interested in staying with other public banking activists, our Alliance members are staying at two hotels:
HI Sacramento Hostel: 925 H Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

Vagabond Inn in Old Town Sacramento: 909 3rd St, Sacramento, CA 95814
