Show Related Specifics
This section is going to get into specifics about the show.
Do you like the current format of Intro -> Listener Photog Adventure -> Stories from the trip -> What went well and what we learned -> Gear Time and Tip of the Week (If No, add thoughts in Other)
Yeah works fine
Should we shorten the 40-second Intro?
Yes - It goes on a bit too long, I just want to get to the podcast
No - I like it and can always skip ahead 30-seconds to get through it faster
How long would you prefer each Podcast last? (Note: Guest Host Podcasts anything goes)
Around 10-20 minutes - I like Podcasts to be succinct
Around 30 minutes - Half an hour is about right
An hour or less - I have a long commute but anything longer takes too many tries to finish
An hour or MORE - As long as it is edited and keeps on pace
Do you like the Listener Photog Adventure segment? (If you like it but want to suggest something use OTHER)
Do you like how we have "What we learned and what could have gone better" as a separate segment? (If you like it but want to suggest something use OTHER)
Yes - It works great to isolate the best and worst photography specific lessons of the trip
No - You can just merge it with the stories more
Do you like the Gear Time segment? (If you like it but want to suggest something use OTHER)
Do you like the Tip of the Week segment? (If you like it but want to suggest something use OTHER)
Do you have an idea for a segment we should add to the show? (If yes, add it in OTHER)
Nope! Nothing I can think of
Ever wondered why we have the musical breaks in the show? Well, we have them for placeholders for when we can get ads to help us fund the work on the podcast. But, speaking of them, would you prefer we didn't have them or do you like the rest periods they provide?
They are fine. Never thought a bit about them.
They are fine but I hope you never use them for ads, isn't there another way you can fund the show?
I don't like them, prefer you just keep going on the podcast without the breaks
I wish they were consistently placed between segments. For instance, where they were ALWAYS before the stories of the trip and ALWAYS before Gear Time and Tip of the week would be good.
Would you listen if we had TWO Photog Adventures Podcasts a week? (Not counting Astro Photog and other future ideas)
Yeah for sure! I am always needing more podcasts
Not really - I am often in the mood for something else so I don't need two a week
You kidding?! I would listen to a DAILY podcast if you guys had the time to do it!
We are considering the twice a week format being one show dedicated to Guest Hosts and the other show dedicated to sharing stories from Aaron and Brendon Photog Adventures. Would you like that idea?
Yes - I love hearing from guest hosts so having an episode every week with a guest host would be awesome
Nah - If you went with two a week, I would prefer to hear more Photog Adventures and have the rare guest host here and there.
Do you mind the Astro Photog podcast coming from the Photog Adventures Podcast feed, or would you prefer it be a podcast of its own? (The Astro Photog podcast is second priority to the Photog Adventures content so it doesn't get released weekly if Aaron can't squeeze in the edit of it. But in an ideal world, it would be released weekly on Thursdays.)
No - I don't mind having the Astro Photog Podcast mixed in weekly or every now and then
Yes - I would prefer that it be a separate podcast so that I don't get it unless I want it
Have you ever recommended the podcast to any of your friends or family?
I will now that you mention it!
Anything that we can improve on? (Answer what in the OTHER option)
Nope! Not that I can think of
