It is a great opportunity for those who are interested in service pertaining to primary school education, healthy living, sustainability, and gardening! Our Growing Sustainably Program consists of garden education workshops, gardening classes, and cooking classes for elementary school students.

QUALIFICATIONS:Enthusiasm for teaching elementary-age youthBasic gardening/nutrition experience/knowledge Experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural setting Experience working in self-directed environments Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional initiative and creativity Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Sense of humor, outgoing personality and flexibility essential Competency or fluency in Spanish is very desirable, but not required
This is a continuous volunteer opportunity. We prefer a commitment of at least 5 hours a week for the semester. There is a stipend available, depending on commitment.
