Welcome to the YOUtopia 2026 Art Grant Application! We award Art Grants in one or more rounds. The sooner you apply, the sooner we can support your project.
- Art of any size, within or outside a Theme Camp,
- Sound Camps,
- Art Cars,
- Temple proposals,
- Other projects that may not fall into the above categories.
Round 2 Application Deadline: August 16th, 2026 11:59pm. You will receive a response within about one week of that date. Please keep an eye out for emails or texts from the Art Curation team in case we need clarification to speed things along.
Grants will be awarded at the close of each Art Grant Window.
The earlier you apply, the sooner we may support your project!
Read and reflect on this form's questions before you begin. We recommend that you compose your answers in the Art Grant Application Questions Document . Create a copy of the file for you to work in directly, and then copy-paste your answers into this application, as your progress in this form cannot be saved. Be ready to complete this Application in one sitting. We also recommend to do this on a laptop or desktop computer for your sanity (and ours).
Similarly, use a copy of the Grant Budget Template to plan your work, then save a copy and upload it into the form.

Additional requirements for specific Art categories:
Art Cars must get pre-Event authorization from the Department of Mutant Vehicles. This is required prior to applying for a YOUtopia Art Grant. Read the
Art Car FAQ thoroughly before filling out the.
Grant Applications for Art Cars will not be reviewed prior to approval from the DMV.
You must also apply for Art Placement, by August 23th 11:59 PM even if your project will be placed within a Theme or Sound Camp, to ensure it is included in the Event Map and Activity Guide.
Theme and Sound Camps must also apply for Placement so that we can best craft our temporary city.
