Accompaniment Music Track Musician/Engineer/Producer Permission Release: permission is required by each person involved in the production of the accompaniment track—music arranger, producer, musicians, background singers, and recording engineer. This release states that they grant MAP permission to use the track for live on-stage performance and broadcast. Written permission from all persons involved in the recording of your talent accompaniment track is mandatory. The music and release must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 1, 2017. A back up Emergency CD/TD and release hard copy will be placed in the contestant packet as directed and turned in April 9, 2017.
Accompaniment Talent Music Track: a track of your talent music is to be uploaded and emailed to email@example.com. The Talent Accompaniment Track time is strictly limited to ninety (90) seconds. Nothing longer is permissible. Read Document 3 and 4 for more details.
Lyrics, Dialogue and Backup Lyrics on Accompaniment Track: if you are singing or speaking, one (1) hard copy of your lyrics, any backup lyrics and/or dialogue is required. NOTE: lyrics may NOT be changed from the original song and lyrics cannot be removed from the original master recording. The lyrics are to be placed in your contestant packet in hard copy and turned in at your meeting at On-Line Selection- Lottery Day April 9,, 2017.
Additionally, you will need to submit a translation for all lyrics performed in a language other than English. Lyrics must be in English if sung in a foreign language and only for the 90 second performance. Do not include lyrics not in the 90 second performance. Every word in the 90 second track must be included, no matter how little. Lyric changes are not permitted for any licensed song. Lyrics will be hard copy and placed in your contestant packet turned in April 9, 2017.
