Supporting Our Families Leadership Education And Parenting Program  offers educational skill building workshops and activities that provide parents and caregivers with the necessary tools to become more effective, consistent and active parents/caregivers. Our workshops are designed to help parents to increase their awareness of positive approaches to effective parenting so that they can raise well rounded, happy, successful children.

The Nurturing Parenting Program is an evidenced-based educational program approved by the State of Pennsylvania, Courts, Parole/ Probation, and Department of Human Services.

Requirements and Recommendations

You do not need to have the newest computer or the highest speed internet connection. However, we do recommend a general comfort level with computers and the internet, along with the following minimum specifications to avoid technical issues while attending the workshop.  

 You need:

  • basic computer skills 

  • a stable internet connection

  • a desktop, laptop computer, Chromebook will function better than a tablet or smartphone

  • the ability to download class materials and complete online forms
