Pre-Professional Ladies Uniform

You may request items through your order form anytime during the school year, but items NOT in stock will be ordered from our distributor on the dates below.

The Louisville Ballet School student dress code maintains the tradition and aesthetic of classical ballet and allows instructors to see the full lines of the students’ bodies. As such, all students must wear the required uniform colors and styles to every class. View the Family Handbook for more detailed uniform requirements for each level and complete descriptions.

This form is for female students - boys/young men will fill out a separate order form, found on our school website under Resources / Uniforms.


Please fill out this form, even if you are not sure of sizing. This allows us to make an educated guess of your needs. If you would like to schedule a fitting after completing this form, please reach out - instructions will be on the form submission page. Fittings must be scheduled in advance as not all staff is able to assist. 
  • All Pre-Professional Ladies wear a Wear Moi leotard with tights and ballet shoes. 
    - Pre-Pro 1-2: Ladies wear SKY BLUE.
    - Pre-Pro 3-4: Ladies wear FRENCH BLUE.
    - Pre-Pro 5-6: Ladies wear NAVY BLUE.
  • Tights and shoes should be theatrical pink, or in skin tone that coordinate best with the dancers skin (with shoes and tights matching). 
  • Dancers may be asked to purchase Pre-Pointe or Pointe shoes, with teacher permission only. Those options are not sold by The Louisville Ballet School and would be purchased through a dancewear retailer, such as Kinney Dancewear on Hurstbourne lane.
Prices are subject to change throughout the year.

When orders are ready for pick up, you will receive an email providing pickup dates and times. Please reach out to our Uniform Manager, Elizabeth Hines at ehines@louisvilleballet.org, with any uniform questions or concerns.

Downtown pickup is only offered for students who are actively in classes at our Downtown location. 
Student Level *
Student Level / Placement determines the uniform requirements for each class. You will only be able to purchase styles + colors available to your dancer's level.
Dancer clothing size *
Please select the clothing size closest to your dancer's average sizes. We understand sizes vary per brand and style and even from tops to bottoms - just make your best estimate.
