Thrifty Horse proudly presents our SECOND annual event in “Horsetown USA”. Over this four day event we will bring to Norco the first of its kind Horse affair that will offer you the opportunity to shop, enjoy educational seminars, food, shows, entertainment, and clinic’s involving everything from managing your ranch to filling the needs of the equine enthusiast. We are bringing back the breeds, and the equine clubs. We will have shopping that is related to our industry.
Event Management is offering a limited opportunity to promote and/or gain exposure. This packet will provide all requirements to be considered by Event Management. At this time Event Management is not considering and/or offering any type of compensation for any presentation.
In addition to filling out a completed application, interested parties will need to provide proof that the Business, Group or Association has the ability to meet the minimum insurance requirements as stipulated by the City of Norco, including the events promoter, Thrifty Horse as additional insured’s.
Remittance of a completed application does not automatically grant interested parties acceptance into the event. All applicants will be reviewed by a committee to determine if the venue will be able to accommodate the Presenter's needs.
Enclosed you will find the Presenter Application/Contract with terms and conditions, rules and regulations and special instructions. PLEASE READ THIS MATERIAL CAREFULLY AND SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION ALONG WITH PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE NAMING THE CITY OF NORCO AS ADDITIONAL INSURED WITH AN ENDORSEMENT and THRIFTY HORSE (Form CG…), Certs will be required along with applications. If your organization is selected, A Horse Health Statement will be required. Unless a horse has traveled out of State 60 days prior to the Norco Horse Affair, event management will not be requiring a Coggins Certificate. All Statements will be required two weeks prior to event.
The identity of our presenters, vendors and sponsors reflect on the event’s reputation, therefore; the NORCO HORSE AFFAIR Promoter’s reserves the sole and exclusive right to accept or reject applications. Our goal is to provide our presenters, vendors and sponsors with a wholesome environment while promoting a family fun atmosphere.

Presenter packets will be distributed at check-in. Presenters will receive (2) 3 day Gate Passes, and (1) 3 day Parking Pass upon arrival. These passes are to be used for the duration of the event – additional gate and parking passes can be purchased. Presenters and their participants or workers must wear badges at all times while on Event Center grounds. We attempt to email each participant to verify acceptance, but cannot guarantee it. Must have a credit card on file with the Norco Horse Affair Management.
All vehicles must be removed from the Arena Area & placed in parking lot 60 minutes prior to the opening of the Horse Affair.
Security: Security is not provided for individuals. There will be security present around the clock throughout the Event Center. The Norco Horse Affair is not responsible for loss of any kind. Booth Owner agrees to obtain any and all additional insurance deemed necessary to cover potential losses.
Presenter specifically agrees to abide by all applicable ordinances and statutes pertaining to presentation during event. This includes any and all statutes and ordinances of the State of California, County of Riverside or other governmental agency pertinent to the Breed Pavilion Booth Owners participation in the Horse Affair, including but not limited to, those affecting health, sanitation, fire safety.
Power will be supplied if requested; however, presenters must supply their own extension cords, adapters and/or quiet generators if needed. Ice is available for sale for all Norco Horse Affair Booth Owners.
Directions to Ingalls Park: From 15 freeway exit 6th Street and proceed East. Continue up 6th Street approximately three miles. Ingalls Park is at the top 6th Street at the end on the right.
1. Certificate of Additional Insured with endorsement or payment for insurance enclosed.2. No Fires. No smoking in area. No Drugs or Alcohol allowed. Violators will be removed.3. All presenters and participants must have the Norco Horse Affair vendor ID.4. Rules and Regulations – read and agreed to – copy kept for your records.5. All Vehicles must be removed no later than 60 minutes prior to opening.6. Payment must be included in order for Application/Contract to hold your spot.7. Applications due August 31st, including 50% deposit on any fees due.8. Applications received after September 1, 2018 must be paid in full.9. NO DOGS ALLOWED10. (1) 3 day parking pass and (2) 3 day gate passes provided. More may be purchased online or at check in.11. All presentations at the Norco Horse Affair must be appropriate for a family friendly event.12. Under no circumstances at any time will the Norco Horse Affair permit selling of any products or service without the express consent of the Event Management and a copy of resale license.13. THE DECISION OF THE NORCO HORSE AFFAIR PROMOTERS IN ALL MATTERS OF APPROPRIATENESS IS FINAL
