Ready to test your accuracy and control in freefall? Join us for the Hula Hoop Freefall Challenge, a fun and skill-focused skydiving event where jumpers aim to fly smoothly through a handheld hoop in mid-air!
Happening Thursday June 26th.
SIGN UP CLOSES THE DAY BEFORE AT 18.00
B-licence requirement, other than that, all levels are welcome!
The Challenge:
5 jumpers will compete at a time. They will be stacked in a 2-2-1 position inside the plane, with the less experienced jumpers in front. Amund and Julian will be hanging from outside of the plane, with the hoola hoop.
When Amund and Julian jumpes off the plane, the race is on! Try to aim at the bottom of the hoop to get through, stretch your legs and tie your shoes well!
The first (and maybe second) jumpers to enter the hoola hoop, will go on to the next round (knockout rounds, depending on how many jumpers).
Rules:
1. All skydivers need to be inside the plane (behind Amund and Julian) at the start.
2. It is allowed to push and pull other competitors on the way to the hoola hoop, but never touch another rig! Legs and armes are fine to push and pull.
3. You need to brake a bit before entering the hoola hoop, we don’t want any injuries
4. You need a B license and or more to compete, as this might get ugly
5. You are only allowed to enter the hoola hoop from the front
6. If anyone hits Amund or Julian, you will be publicly executed
7. Separation will happen at 5500 feet, and no one is allowed through the hoola hoop after 6000 feet.
