Be sure to read the Ambassador Program Overview found here: http://richmond300.com/marketingMasterPlan/sites/default/files/AmbassadorsProgramOverview_180502.pdf
This very important volunteer role assists us in spreading the word about the Richmond 300 process, facilitating small group discussion, and staffing community events (such as Community Consultations, community meetings, pop-up meetings, etc.).
Ambassadors are critical to on-the-ground marketing and engaging as many Richmonders as possible, especially those who are first-time participants in any public process, and we are actively seeking a group of capable and enthusiastic community volunteers for this task.
Ambassadors should feel comfortable engaging with our diverse community and supporting those communities as they articulate their own ideas. As an ambassador, you will become well versed on the importance of the master plan update and the details of the Richmond 300 process and schedule to share with your community. In June, ambassadors will attend a required training which will detail your vital role in the process and provide training on presenting draft plans and facilitating small group discussions and consensus-based decision-making.
If you are still interested in becoming an Ambassador, please take a moment to complete this questionnaire by May 31, 2018.
