The Black Belt Community Foundation (BBCF) is conducting a series of county-wide listening sessions across its 12-county service area in Alabama’s Black Belt Region. Spanning diverse towns and rural areas, the listening sessions will create a welcoming, inclusive space where participants could openly discuss challenges related to education, healthcare access, economic development, infrastructure, cultural preservation and much more. The session will highlight community strengths, celebrate local initiatives, and foster connections among individuals and groups committed to building a stronger, more resilient county.
Feedback gathered from these sessions will directly inform BBCF’s strategic priorities, investments, grantmaking initiatives, and collaborative partnerships moving forward.
