I understand that completion of this application does not indicate that there are any positions open and does not in any way obligate St. John Lutheran Church or St. John Lutheran Preschool to hire me or offer me this job.

In the processing of your employment application an investigative report whereby information is obtained from former employers and references will be conducted. Permission is hereby granted to any school, person, firm, corporation or church, whether my former employer or otherwise, to give St. John Lutheran Church any relevant information that may be required to arrive at an employment decision and I hereby release St. John Lutheran Church, it's officers, employees, representatives, or agents, from any and all liability and/or damage incurred by myself in obtaining such information.

I understand that employment and compensation can be terminated, with due cause, at the option of either St. John Lutheran Church or myself, and that no pastor, Preschool Director has any authority to enter into any oral agreement for employment for any specified period of time or to make any agreement contrary to the foregoing.
St. John Lutheran Church reserves the right to use any legal method of investigation which, in its sole discretion, it deems reasonable and necessary to determine whether any employee has engaged in conduct warranting disciplinary action. As a condition of continued employment, if hired, I agree to cooperate in any such investigation.

If this contract is found to be in violation of any law or regulation of a particular state, it shall be severed and considered void without affecting the validity of the rest of the agreement.

By sending this completed application to St. John Preschool, I certify that I have completed this application and that I understand that if hired, my continued employment is predicated upon the truthfulness and accuracy of the statements contained herein. If hired, I agree to conform to the rules and regulations of St. John Lutheran Church as issued from time-to-time.
